Während ich mit der Fertigstellung von Steps I - III beschäftigt bin, habe ich auch einen neuen Quilt begonnen. Dies sind die Stoffe die ich verwenden wollte, d.h. bevor ich sie vorgewaschen habe.
Mentre finisco Steps I - III ho anche iniziato un nuovo quilt. Queste sono le stoffe che volevo usare. Voglio dire così erano prima di lavarle.
And this is what came out of the washing machine! Because I made the mistake of adding another kind of fabric they came out all discolored. The picture doesn't really show it well but believe me, what was white before came out sort of beigegreengrey. After recovery from the shock I decided I was going to use them anyway. We'll see where this leads to.
Und so sahen sie nach dem Waschen aus! Weil ich dummerweise eine andere Stoffart zusätzlich mitgewaschen habe, hat sich alles verfärbt. Das Foto zeigt es nicht sehr deutlich aber glaubt mir, was vorher weiss war, war danach beigegrüngrau. Nachdem ich mich vom Schreck erholt hatte, beschloss ich, sie trotzdem zu verwenden. Mal sehen wo das hinführt.
Ed ecco come sono diventate dopo il lavaggio! Perché per stupidaggine ho aggiunto un'altro tipo di stoffa, hanno fortemente cambiato di colore. La foto non lo dimostra molto bene ma credetemi, ciò che prima era bianco dopo era beigeverdegrigio. Dopo essermi ripresa dallo spavento ho deciso di usarle comunque. Vedremo come andrà.
Because I'll be working with triangles, I'm thinking of starting a new series, and I'm tired of coming up with names, I'll simply call this one T1.
Da ich mit Dreiecken arbeiten werde, vermutlich eine neue Serie damit starte und ich es müde bin, mir Namen auszudenken, werde ich diesen schlicht T1 nennen.
Dato che lavorerò con triangoli, probabilmente iniziando una nuova serie e dato che sono stanca di inventarmi dei nomi, questo lo chiamerò semplicemente T1.
