Urban knitting at Basler Fasnacht

Maybe you remember what urban knitters did to our Wettstein bridge last year in June? If not check out this. Now this fact has become the most popular theme of this years Fasnacht (i.e. carnival). I went to the lantern exhibition and took pictures for you to enjoy.

Erinnert ihr euch, was im Juni letzten Jahres mit unserer Wettsteinbrücke geschah? Fall nicht, schaut mal hier. Erstaunlicherweise ist dies das beliebteste Sujet der diesjährigen Fasnacht geworden. Ich war an der Laternen-Ausstellung und habe Fotos für euch gemacht. Viel Spass damit!

After having completed all works in progress (this, this and this) I needed something new, easy and handy. I decided to knit a scarf.

Nachdem ich nun alle meine angefangenen Arbeiten fertig gestellt habe (diese, diese und diese), brauchte ich eine neue, einfache und immer griffbereite. Und so habe ich entschieden, einen Schal zu stricken.

Dopo avere finito tutti i miei lavori (questo, questo e questo), mi occorreva un compito nuovo, semplice e a portata di mano. Ho deciso di fare una sciarpa lavorata a maglia.

Here a last set of my shots. Hopefully there will be more urban knitting activities around here in the future. I might give it a thought myself.

Hier ein letztes Set meiner Aufnahmen. Hoffentlich gibt es in Zukunft mehr solche Aktivitäten hier herum. Wer weiss was mir selbst dazu einfällt.
