Assembly of the top has started and it shouldn't take much longer and I'll have a finished top.

All the blocks are sewn and I have decided on the final layout. This is how I'm going to assemble the top. I'm quite satisfied with it this far and I'm wondering how the look will change once the seam allowances have shrinked them.

I have started a new quilt. After the colorfulness of Danbar and Trip Around The World it's time for some reduced color palette. My hope is that the design will be strong enough to gain attention in a gentle way.
Also I felt it time to upcycle some old shirts again.

Trip Around The World // 11 and last!

Trip Around The World is all done and finished! I know I have said it before but This Has Been So Much Fun To Make! For the last five months working on this quilt has been such a calming and pleasant task. A truly treasured companion.

Hand pieced using the english paper piecing method and hand quilted with no frame.
