epp update and a longer pause

My pile of blocks is slowly growing. I'm aiming at 48 and have completed 14 this far. Still lots to do and that is just the way I like it.

I have started this project with this sort of layout in mind:

Now that I have started to play around with options I don't know what I'll decide in the end:

I'll reconsider and decide once I can layout all the finished blocks.
But this won't be too soon since I'm putting this project aside now as I'm leaving for a longer vacation. And once back I want to finally start quilting Steps IV. And then it will be almost time to start a Christmas Tree quilt. I always forget I want to do one until it's too late so this year should be the year to make it happen. Happy to know I still have lots of ideas for my quilting projects!

Preparing for packing I came across these shoe bags I made a while ago. These funny fabrics still amuse me.

I'll be back with hopefully some great pictures of wonderful places I have never seen. Stay well, safe, and be kind to each other.

little progress with epp project

Making only baby steps with this project. I totally enjoy working on it though. And I love that I can take it outside if the weather permits.

Meanwhile the plums from a few weeks ago are being put to good use.

And Basel can look pretty in the evening.
