Northwest USA Trip - Yellowstone National Park 1 // 9

I find it very hard to express the feelings when visiting Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The park offers so much to see and to sense. There is such a variety in landscapes, natural phenomena, wildlife. Valleys, canyons, rivers, water falls, lakes, hot springs, mud pots, fumaroles, geysers, bisons, black bears...

I am still overwhelmed when reviewing my fotos. And I don't know how to pick just a few and to give any comments. We spent three full days there and I came home with thousands of pictures.
Let's see if I manage to give some kind of overview. In several installements.

Walking around in Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve, Idaho does feel like being on another planet at times. Or like earth's crust has broken up to reveal the innards.
