From mid August to mid September we have been traveling the Northwest of the USA. We wanted to experience the total solar eclipse and take benefit of the wider area once in the country. You can imagine that I've come back with literally thousands of pictures. I'm in the process of reviewing, discarding and organising and will be sharing some highlights here over the next days. This is for friends that are not on Instagram or FB, where I've been already sharing along the way.
We began our trip in Oregon a few days before the eclipse. We took some time to explore the area and decide where we wanted to position ourselves for the big moment.
Our first day-trip and hike took us to the top of Mount Bachelor in central Oregon. It couldn't have been a more wonderful start into hiking the mountains and enjoying the views from atop.
