Sometimes I just have to sketch some ideas. If only to get them out of my head and make room for other things. This has been such a moment.

Fabric stash

The amount of fabric I bought in Krakow has led to reorganizing storage on my shelves. I spent two days with refolding and rearranging and it felt like therapy. Now I can get back to being creative.

Die Menge and Stoffe, die ich in Krakau gekauft habe hat es nötig gemacht, meine Aufbewahrung neu zu organisieren. Ich habe zwei Tage mit Zusammenlegen und Einordnen verbracht und es hat sich wie Therapie angefühlt. Nun kann ich wieder kreativ sein.

La quantità di stoffe comperate in Krakovia mi ha costretta a riorganizzare il stoccaggio. Ho passato due giorni a piegare e sistemare ed è stato quasi come una terapia. Ora sono pronta per continuare a creare.

Summer vacation is over and my art class has resumed. Here is my newest painting I just finished this week. If you think you have seen this before look closely. It's not the same as this one. This one closes this series. A new task has been given to us. More about it soon.

Die Sommerferien sind vorbei und mein Malkurs hat wieder begonnen. Dies ist mein neustes Bild, das ich diese Woche fertig gemalt habe. Falls ihr denkt, ihr habt es schon mal gesehen, müsst ihr genauer hinschauen. Es ist nicht dasselbe wie dieses. Nun haben wir eine neue Aufgabe erhalten. Demnächst mehr darüber.

Here a last set of my shots. Hopefully there will be more urban knitting activities around here in the future. I might give it a thought myself.

Last Saturday the bannister of the Wettstein Bridge in my city of Basel got a new cozy look! I wish part of it was my work. While walking up and down the bridge I got to enjoy plenty of smiling faces and was touched by the happiness this urban knitting action brought to the people passing by. Many thanks to the organizers!

Das Geländer der Wettsteinbrücke in meiner Heimatstadt Basel hat letzten Samstag ein neues kuscheliges Kleid erhalten. Wenn ich das gewusst hätte, hätte ich gerne etwas beigesteuert. Ich habe viele lächelnde Gesichter gesehen, als ich über die Brücke schlenderte. Es hat mich berührt zu sehen, wie viel Freude diese Aktion den Passanten bereitet hat. Ein herzliches Dankeschön und ein Riesenkompliment an die Organisatoren.

Sabato scorso la balaustra del Ponte Wettstein nella mia città di Basilea ha ricevuto un nuovo vestito soffice. Come mi sarebbe piaciuto partecipare se l'avessi saputo prima. Che piacere veder tutti quei sorrisi nei volti dei passanti. Tante grazie ai organizzatori per questa simpatica azione.
