I am almost on the finishing line with this top. A few more days and it will be done! That's pretty good news as I'm getting really tired of all these white squares! What was I thinking?!

Neckbone Pillow // 4
And then there were two Pillows! A truly fun and quick project that will hopefully also serve as a great gift. I really enjoyed selecting the fabrics and sewing the pillows. Only the stuffing is not a task I enjoy. I never know how much to stuff and find it also difficult to get a nice and smooth shape.
But these may well not be my last neckbones!

Neckbone Pillow // 2
My first neckbone pillow is done! I'm very happy with the result. Isn't it just cute? Soon I'll know if she likes it too.
Plus I had great fun making it. So I've decided to make a second one. Only it will be a little bit smaller.

Neckbone Pillow // 1
For the first time I'm going to make a neckbone pillow! It will be a gift for a little girl that loves blue. So I thought of doing some patchwork with various shades of blue. And a little bit of pink and green. I've heard that it is pretty easy to sew such a pillow. I found tutorials on the web and finger's crossed everything will be fine.
Auditioning fabrics:
First two panels quilted for more firmness of the pillow:
The pillow consists of three panels. I left one unquilted. This picture shows the pillow before sewing the last seam.
And this is the finished pillow ready for stuffing. So far so good!
