Bali // 7 and finished !

Bali is done and I'm so happy with how this quilt turned out. I'm really in love with it. Since the fabric is all recycled and has been washed many times it is very soft to the touch. And the all over free motion stipple quilting also adds to a fleecy surface. I so like the colors and the variety of the prints. I normally don't like to self-praise me but this time I do feel proud and deeply satisfied by this work.

Bali is fertig und ich bin überglücklich mit dem Resultat. Ich bin wirklich verliebt in diesen Quilt. Die recycleten und viele Male gewaschenen Stoffe sind so weich im Griff. Auch das dichte Quilten im Mäander-Stil machen die Oberfläche schön flauschig. Mir gefallen die Farben und die Vielfalt der Drucke so sehr. Eigenlob soll ja stinken aber was soll's. Ich bin wirklich stolz und tief beglückt mit dieser Arbeit.

Bali è finito e sono molto contenta di come e riuscito. Anzi ne sono proprio innamorata. Le stoffe riciclate che sono state lavate tante volte sono così morbide al tocco. Poi la quiltatura con il punto stippling rende la superficie ancora più soffice. Mi piacciono tanto i colori e i vari disegni delle stoffe. Chi si loda s'imbroda ma questa volta voglio proprio lodarmi. Aver creato questo quilt mi rende orgogliosa e felice.
