Azzurro

Here comes the finished top! Looking at this top made me think of a hot summer day under a blue sky. And suddendly I had the name for it. Azzurro, like the song by the Italian singer Adriano Celentano. Enjoy!

Und hier ist das fertige Top. Als ich es mir so ansah, musste ich an einen heissen Sommertag unter einem blauen Himmel denken. Und plötzlich hatte ich den Namen. Azzurro, wie das Lied des italienischen Sängers Adriano Celentano. Viel Vergnügen!

Ecco qui il top finito. Mentre lo guardavo ho dovuto pensare a un caldo giorno d'estate sotto un cielo azzurro. E così mi è saltato in mento il nome. Azzurro, come la canzone di Adriano Celentano. Buon divertimento!

Crochet Möbius

I finished crocheting my möbius. Doesn't it look lovely? OK, the colors are not really like spring but you know what? Elsewhere on the planet it's autumn.

Mein Möbius ist fertig gehäkelt. Sieht er nicht gut aus? OK, es sind nicht gerade Frühlingsfarben aber wisst ihr was? Anderswo auf dem Planeten ist es Herbst.

Ho finito il mio möbius. Carino vero? OK, i colori non sono proprio primaverili ma sapete una cosa? Altrove sul pianeta è autunno.

New Quilt - Neuer Quilt - Nuovo Quilt // 4

This was the moment to think of how to fill the spaces between the blocks. I chose to use solids in different reds and started to add to the blocks.
At this stage I still wasn't able to come up with a name for this quilt.

Nun war es an der Zeit zu entscheiden, wie die Räume zwischen den Blöcken gefüllt werden sollen. Ich entschied mich für Unistoffe in verschiedenen Rottönen und begann, die Blöcke damit zu ergänzen.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte ich noch immer keinen Namen für diesen Quilt gefunden.

Era ora di pensare a come riempire gli spazi tra i blocchi. Decisi di usare stoffe in tinta unita di vari colori rossi e incominciai ad aggiungere ai blocchi.
A questo punto ancora non sapevo che nome dare a questo quilt.

As a next step I thought of how to arrange the blocks within the top and how big I want my quilt to be.
I played around on my design wall until I liked what I was seeing. I'll stick to the layout in the last picture.

Als nächstes habe ich mir überlegt, wie ich die Blöcke im Top arrangieren will und wie gross der Quilt werden könnte. Ich habe an der Designwand herumgespielt bis mir etwas gefallen hat. Als es so aussah, wie auf dem letzten Foto unten, habe ich aufgehört.

Ho pensato a come arrangiare i blocchi nel mio top e quale dimensioni debba avere il mio quilt. Ho sperimentato alla parete da disegno fino a quando il risultato mi è piaciuto. Quando sono arrivata allo stato dell'ultima foto qui sotto, mi sono fermata.
