Lotsa Dots and New Design Wall !

I'm upgrading my studio and a bigger design wall was a must. My new one now measures 2.10 meters wide by 2.30 meters high. Now we are talking!
The pictures show the previous design wall, the making of the new one and the wip of Lotsa Dots.

Ich baue mein Studio aus und eine grössere Designwand musste unbedingt her. Die neue misst nun 2.10m breit und 2.30m hoch. Jetzt macht's Spass!

Sto rimodernando il mio studio e volevo per forza una parete da disegno più grande. La nuova ora misura 2.10 metri in larghezza e 2.30 metri in altezza. Ora sì che é festa!

I have started a new quilt! This is the fabric I'm using, purchased several years ago in Austin, Texas. It says Lotsa Dots on the selvedge. This is going to be a very colorful quilt and quite different from Silk Road.

Ich habe einen weiteren Quilt begonnen! Ich verwende diese Stoffe Lotsa Dots die ich vor einigen Jahren in Austin, Texas gekauft habe. Dieser Quilt wird sehr bunt werden und sehr verschiedenen von meiner Seidenstrasse.

Ho incominciato un nuovo Quilt! Uso queste stoffe comperate anni fa a Austin nel Texas. Questo quilt diventerà molto colorato e completamente diverso dalla mia Via della seta. (Lotsa Dots = tanti punti)

Skultur II, Basel

Recently seen at Schützenmattpark in Basel: Skultur II by Littmann Kulturprojekte. I'm sharing two of the art works I liked a lot. These and more will be exhibited until November 3rd.

Vor kurzem im Schützenmattpark in Basel gesehen: Skultur II von Littmann Kulturprojekte. Ich zeige zwei Kunstwerke, die mir sehr gefallen haben. Diese und weitere sind bis zum 3. November zu sehen.

Visto di recente nel parco Schützenmattpark a Basilea: Skultur II di Littmann Kulturprojekte. Purtroppo non ho trovato siti in lingua italiana da linkare. Skultur II é un installazione di sculture di diversi artisti in un parco pubblico e dura fino al tre novembre. E stata concepita e realizzata da Klaus Littmann, un indipendente mediatore d'arte. Vi mostro due sculture che mi sono molto piaciute.

Mir gefallen die einfachen Formen, die Farbwahl, der sich durch wechselnde Ansicht verändernde Ausdruck, die Verbindung von spielerischem Witz mit hartem, monumentalem Stahl.

Mi piace la semplicità delle forme, la scelta dei colori, il cambiare del espressione in dipendenza dall'angolo di veduta, la combinazione di spirito scherzoso e duro acciaio.

I like the through and insights, the changing repetitiveness, the combination of smooth waves and hard steel. The softness and strongness.

Mir gefallen die Ein- und Durchsichten, die sich verändernden Wiederholungen, die Kombination von dünnen Linien und sanften Wellen mit hartem Stahl. Die Weichheit und die Stärke.

Mi piace la trasparenza, il cambiare del ritmo di ripetizione, la combinazione di linee fine e ondulate con duro acciaio. La morbidezza e la forza.
