Kernel // 7

Keeping the paper inside delivers crisp seams but while it's been a good idea to keep the paper when sewing two blocks together, it wasn't clever to sew intersecting seams. I've had a hard time removing the paper in itself but removing it from within crossing seams allowances has been hell. It has taken me two days to remove all the paper. Luckily I realized I had this issue before completing the whole top what I think saved me another day of work. Of course this whole problem also originated from the fact that I had left too little seam allowances to start with, which forced me to join the blocks by sewing over the paper foundation instead of just on the outer part along the paper. Lots of lessons learned here!
