Heart - Herz - Cuore // 2

I had so much fun sewing this heart that I used as a birthday card for a person I care about. I just wrote my best wishes on the white paper back before folding it. I stumbled by accident and just in time on the tutorial in the magazine I'm showing at the end of this post. The tutorial used washi tapes, I sewed fabric right on the paper instead. I think this is another great use of scraps and with a little of imagination could be easily turned into another shape that is more neutral than a heart. I think more sooner than later I'll try to make one shaped as a simple envelope. Btw you may recognize some of this fabric from my Lotsa Dots. The card was well received.

Dieses Herz auf Papier zu nähen hat mir richtig Spass gemacht. Ich habe es als Geburtstagskarte für eine mir wichtige Person verwendet. Die Grüsse habe ich auf der weissen Papierrückseite geschrieben, bevor ich es dann in Form gefaltet habe. Ich bin gerade rechtzeitig und zufällig auf die Anleitung im Heft gestossen, das ich am Ende dieses Posts zeige. Anstelle der Washi Tapes habe ich Stoffreste verwendet. Das ist ein weitere tolle Möglichkeit, um Reste zu verwerten und mit etwas Einfallsreichtum bekommt man sicher auch eine etwas neutralere Form hin. Ich denke ich versuche mich bald mal an eine simple Briefumschlag-Form. Erkennt ihr vielleicht die Stoffresten von Lotsa Dots? Die Karte hat gefallen.

Mi sono davvero divertita molto a cucire questo cuore su carta che ho usato come cartolina da compleanno per una persona a me cara. Gli auguri li ho scritti sul retro di carta prima di piegarla in forma. Il tutorial l'ho trovato per caso e giusto in tempo nella rivista che vi mostro alla fine di questo post. Invece di incollare i washi tapes (strisce adesive colorate), ho cucito le stoffe. Un'altra fantastica idea per usare i resti di stoffa. Penso che si potrebbe facilmente cucire delle altre forme e ho voglia di tentare una semplice busta per lettere. Riconoscete le stoffe usate per Lotsa Dots? La cartolina è stata bene apprezzata.
