Dresda // 6 and finished !

And here comes the finished Dresda quilt. I like how each of my quilts is totally different from the previous one. (Although I'm starting to think about working in series.) The making of this quilt posed just one challenge. You can read about it here. I like how it turned out, it's not my favorite quilt but I still like it. It is very cheerful and I can totally see it on a girls' bed. I chose to quilt it with simple straight lines (in different colors) but in the opposite diagonal direction than the fabric stripes have. I think this was a good decision. As of now each of my quilt has its own dedicated quilting. I wonder when I'll start to repeat myself.

Und voilà mein fertiger quilt Dresda. Es gefällt mir, wie jeder meiner Quilts sich vollkommen vom Vorgänger unterscheidet (obwohl ich langsam an eine Arbeit in Serie denke). Beim Nähen dieses Quilts gab es eine Herausforderung zu meistern, ihr könnt hier mehr darüber erfahren. Mit dem Resultat bin ich recht zufrieden. Es ist nicht unbedingt mein Lieblingsquilt geworden aber dennoch gefällt er mir. Es ist ein fröhlicher Quilt und ich kann ihn mir gut auf einem Bett im Zimmer eines Mädchens vorstellen. Ich habe verschiedenfarbige diagonale Linien gequiltet, die in entgegengesetzter Richtung der Stoffstreifen verlaufen. Ich glaube, das war eine gute Entscheidung. Bisher ist keiner meiner Quilts in gleicher Weise gequiltet. Bin gespannt, wann ich beginnen werde, mich zu wiederholen.

Ed eccovi il finito quilt Dresda. Di nuovo completamente differente dagli altri che ho fatto. Mentre lo cucivo ho incontrato una difficoltà della quale ne ho parlato quì. Mi piace come è venuto anche se non è proprio il mio preferito. E un quilt allegro e me lo immagino bene sopra un letto in una stanza di ragazzina. La trapunta l`ho fatta a linee diagonali in direzione opposta delle strisce di stoffa usando fili di diversi colori. Mi pare una buona decisione. Finora tutti i miei quilt sono stati trapuntati in maniera diversa. Vorrei proprio sapere quando inizierò a ripetermi.
