As a follow-up on my previous post I want to talk a little more about selecting the right section of a painting. This is where I think that my first choice wasn't the best one. The first picture shows the selected section of a painting I posted about here. The second picture shows a second thought. I think the painting gains a lot by showing a little red on the left edge. Don't you think? Please excuse the variance in colors, its due to shooting pictures under different light conditions.

Wie im vorigen Post beschrieben, ist es nicht immer einfach, den richtigen Ausschnitt eines Bildes zu bestimmen. Hier ist ein weiteres Beispiel. Das erste Foto zeigt den damals gewählten Ausschnitt eines meiner Bilder, das ich hier vorgestellt habe. Das zweite Foto, wie ich mich heute entscheiden würde. Mir scheint, durch das Rot am linken Rand gewinnt das Bild an Ausdruck. Was meint ihr? Sorry für die unterschiedliche Farbqualität, die durch das Fotografieren unter verschiedenen Lichtverhältnissen entstanden ist.

Come ho scritto prima, non è facile scegliere una buona inquadratura. Ecco un altro esempio. La prima foto mostra la mia scelta come l'avevo presentata qui. La seconda foto come deciderei oggi. Mi pare che mostrare del rosso al lato sinistro dia al dipinto un'espressione più profonda. Cosa ne pensate? Scusate la differente apparenza dei colori. E ciò che succede quando si fotografa con diverse condizioni di luce.
