how to decide? - wie sich entscheiden? - come decidersi?

This is one of my most recent paintings. Normally I paint over the whole sheet of paper. Then I have to decide on the best section to be framed, if I was going to hang it. I often find it very difficult to come to a decision. Rarely the section is obvious.  Often less is more, meaning that I'm going to hide parts I took the trouble to paint. This is frustrating but has to be. Rarely, I can keep the whole picture. If I ask three people what they think I get five answers. Does this mean there is no right and wrong or at least better or worse? I doubt it. I'm going to show you different ways this painting could be framed. I can think of many more. I do have a favorite among these but I'm not telling you (yet). Which one would you pick?

Dies ist einer meiner neuesten Bilder. Ich bemale meist das ganze Blatt. Leider ist es oft so, dass nur ein bestimmter Ausschnitt davon, ein wirklich interessanter Eindruck hinterlässt. Diesen Ausschnitt zu bestimmen finde ich gar nicht einfach. Doch das muss ich tun, wenn ich das Bild rahmen möchte. Meist ist weniger mehr. Nur selten gelingt es, dass das ganze Bild taugt. Das ist ärgerlich, da ich Bereiche abdecken muss, mit welchen ich mir doch auch Mühe gegeben habe. Wenn ich andere nach ihrer Meinung frage, erhalte ich die verschiedensten Antworten. Also doch alles nur eine Geschmacksfrage? Ich bezweifle es. Hier ist eine Auswahl, wie dieses Bild gerahmt werden könnte. Ich kann mir auch noch weitere vorstellen. Unter diesen habe ich einen Favoriten, den ich aber (noch) nicht verrate. Was meint ihr?

Questo è uno dei miei ultimi dipinti. Quando si tratta di incorniciare un quadro si deve definire l'inquadratura migliore. Trovo molto difficile prendere questa decisione. Spesso mostrare di meno dà un risultato migliore. Trovo ciò frustrante perché debbo nascondere parti che ci ho sudato sopra. Però é necessario se si vuole un buon risultato. Se chiedo il parere di tre persone, ricevo cinque risposte diverse. Tuttavia credo che non si tratta solo di una questione di gusti. Vi mostro alcune varianti come inquadrare questo dipinto. Me ne posso immaginare anche altre. Tra queste ho una versione favorita che però no rivelo (ancora). Voi quale scegliete?
