I have finished hand appliqueing the top to the background fabric. I really like the look. I'm only showing a corner here as I don't want to reveal too much for now.

I've also decided on the backing. It will be composed of these two fabrics.

I think I'm really going to like this quilt. If my hand quilting plan turns out well. Time will tell.
