It's been a while since I posted about
Crux. I finished this top last May and it has been patiently waiting to be picked up again. Partly because I was doing other projects in the meantime but also because it has given me a hard time to decide on the quilting. Meanwhile the quilting is almost done and I'm still not convinced about my decision. This quilt really deserves its name!
This is the current stage
I could also have stopped here
Or I could have quilted it with black thread? Or black&white variegated thread? Or again a different color at all? Or chosen a completely different quilting design??
I really liked this stage though
But this moment is gone and can't come back.
Now all I can do is decide if I'm done quilting.
