Spring quilt - Frühlingsquilt - Trapunta primaverile // 1/2

This quilt was aimed to be finished for spring 2010. Instead I just finished it this summer. It's the first quilt I designed purposefully with a specific theme in mind, namely spring. Today I'm showing you some of the making of. Next post will show the finished quilt.

Eigentlich hätte dieser Quilt im Frühling 2010 fertig sein sollen. Stattdessen wurde es diesen Sommer. Dies ist der erste Quilt den ich absichtlich nach einem bestimmten Thema (Frühling) entworfen habe. Normalerweise arbeite ich spontaner, ohne viel zu entwerfen, zu zeichnen, zu probieren. Heute zeige ich ein paar Entstehungsschritte. Im nächsten Eintrag dann den fertigen Quilt.

Questa trapunta volevo farla per la primavera del 2010. Invece la finì quest'estate. L'ho disegnata con il tema della primavera in mente. Normalmente lavoro più spontaneamente, senza metterci troppo tempo nel disegno e nelle prove. Qui vi mostro alcuni passi durante il lavoro. Nella prossima entrata vi mostrerò la trapunta finita.
