Impressions from my Solo Exhibit "Die Summe der Teile"

With some delay I'm finally sharing pictures from my Solo Show of last March titled The Sum of The Parts.

It was held at the SGBK Kunstraum, Basel, Switzerland.

The gallery has two rooms joined by a small narrow hallway. In the front room I revisited older work shown before along with a few newer ones made for this show. They are full of color and quite divers.

The little hallway held three quilts. All of them shared here before, the oldest being from 2013!
You can find them here on the Quilt pages. I'm behind with posting Quilts made after 2023 but I plan on adding them.

The back room was dedicated to my quilts made by using mainly discarded shirts. Along with a few older ones shared here before, the room showed my most recent series of five quilts exploring expressive designs by using strong light and dark contrast. Thus the series is named Light & Dark I - V and was finished late 2025. These Quilts all measure about 170 x 120 cm.

Here are some pictures from the gallery rooms. Hope you enjoy them.
